As I no longer have a camera or batteries for it, I don't know what the firmware update situation is. It had been regularly updated as it had recently been upgraded for the x5 camera.

Right. The camera and the batteries have already been sold. I didn't think the firmware updates could apply to an empty shell when the firmware lives in the micro sd card and the batteries. When I had the camera and batteries, they were regularly updated.

The firmware would only apply to the remote controller. Otherwise the firmware is updated through the "intelligent" batteries, which have already been sold. The controller has been regularly updated. Thanks.
