Good morning guys
After getting some local pricing and reading up on the subject, it is decided.
Just the Z3 and an additional battery or 2.
If I must to do anything else, it will most likely be the I1v2 props or the LP carbon props.
Thanks again for the positive feedback!
Hey there everyone
I have sort of "outgrown" my standard Inspire 1v1 with X3 camera, which is about 16 to 18 months old.
My needs actually call for a Z3 camera (zoom) and most likely an XT camera (thermal) too, in the near future.
1.
Do I upgrade my I1v1 with the I1v2 ESCs, motors, 1345T...
That is as much as I thought...
Pity DJI did not pick Optris from Germany... there you get frame rates up to 80Hz I believe...
On the other hand, the price is then a little less... especially if there is a chance of falling from the sky ;)
And what a bonus it will be if the XT can be used with the OSMO!
It will save me an enormous amount of money.
I still battle with one thing though...
Where does the Hz or frame rate count?
I have looked at some web videos that tries to compare <9Hz and 24Hz (NTSC) / 25Hz (PAL) footage.
Am I...
Hey there Stinkys
I mainly fly electrical infrastructure, like power lines and outdoor substations.
I would require images or videos that can be analyzed after the fact, to create reports and real time temperature to "see" hot spots.
I believe this type of IR imagery is what they call full...
Hello Guys 'n Girls
My work with the Inspire 1 has opened up another opportunity for me and that is InfraRed imaging.
Can anyone help me work though the multitude of options out there please?
I am used to the way DJI work (good or bad) and I have a dealer close by at least.
After much research...
Hey everyone
A client wants me to photograph traffic intersections with the view of using the information for planning and design purposes.
Snag is... They want the pictures to scale...
I can see virtically down images will probably be easier to scale afterwards, if you place a known size...
Morning Scot
Yes I have done exactly as per your instructions.
What I am thinking is that perhaps, just perhaps I did not zoom in enough.
But having been around PCs and map software like the stuff for my Garmin that I use off-road, for a long time, I could have become a little careless or...
Hey everyone...
Just to clarify...
I tried everything as per the manual and what is written in many posts. Somehow when I get to site I do not have the maps.
Then and only then after all that battle did I try to use the Google and/or Here maps.
What I did not mention is that I "cache the...
Okay...
So I downloaded Google Maps.
I saved the map regions I require to "Your places".
I make sure "Airplane mode" is selected.
I open DJI Go and change my view to the area I will visit.
No maps.
I exit DJI Go and open Google Maps - I can see the cached maps.
What am I doing wrong?
I too would have gone for this upgraded camera if it had some kind of zoom as part of the package.
In my line of work, I need to keep well clear of my subjects but need views resembling "arms length" photography.
The current wide angle lens only caters for "general views" and not the "detail...
99% of my flying is away from cellular services, so I was hoping to cache the maps before leaving for the site.
My flight records therefore shows "map loading" for ever and a day... upon my return.
I highlighted this inability to keep the maps in cache on various forums.
I still have the same...
