With iPad Pro 9.7, I hold it to reflect my head and a cap on to block the bright sky. Tried Hoodivision, it too bulky but if it works for you, that's good then.

Hood is useless, screen reflexes sky above you and behind you.

I tried my iPad Pro 9.7 yesterday in the bright sun, screen is better less reflection, lag is still there about 0.1 second. Overall iPad Pro 9.7 is a tad better than my iPad mini 4 and much better than my Mini 2 (which will be handed to my grand son).

Mine will be delivered tomorrow, I am using iPad mini 4 which is better than Mini 2. Hope iPad mini Pro is better than mini 4 !

Yes, that's correct, battery gets very warm with pads on, I have to pull out those pads as soon as I land so battery gets cool down fast, I don't like my battery to sit in the heat for too long because heat is the big enemy for battery.

I had the same problem with "no signal", no camera feed, could not set the camera functions but other info and functions work fine. This happened about ten days ago. Contacted DJI in LA and got RMA to send the original camera to be fixed. Oh, BTW , camera was very hot after battery was turned...
