Try the litchi flight platform. Should run you about $25. Runs on top of dji fly and dji go. Opens features like waypoints for mavic mini. (Just an example) but it connects seamlessly on all aircraft ive used it with. Mini, mini se, air2s, inspire1 v2) good luck.

I wanted to add a note about changing the ribbon cable. Be sure to journal each of the gimble nuts in relation to the housing. Mark accurately and count the rotations. Write it down! The nuts have a magnetic facet and are calibrated at the OEM. Lose that position, and you may not get the thing...

The x3 zoom is not compatible with Inspire1. It will fit the port, backwards, maybe even show video from where ever the gimbal flaps to. But it was made for osmo, and Inspire uses different pinout config. It will never work on inspire1. I bought one and tried it out. I saw a video feed but no...

I too suffer from no gimbal response. Brand new factory sealed cam. I get a video feed, when calibrating yhe gimbal in dji go it can see slight movement at the camera. The picture is otherwise perfect and records video and image. Just no gimbal control
