I wouldn’t say there’s a ton of truth to that. I’ve never found it to be horrifically unfriendly towards drones, getting permission for certain things can be a pita, but that’s true of anywhere. I think being one of the tech capitals of the US, it’s just more likely that more people here have...

Getting permission for these shots was less than fun, but worth the effort!

I've had a few Inspire 2's, varying firmware, X5 & X7 and have never had any of these issues listed. Guess YMMV or it's just a lot of user error hah.

Shipped mine once using DHL with TSA locks and a label on the case, had no issues. Barely got beat up!

Inspire 2 with the X7, will get you better shots than a A7Sii will and will be way less of a headache than trying to fly and setup a Matrice.
