I always fly with a "spotter" who looks out for objects that I might not be aware of and might pose as a potential danger to the unit and especially to other people. I'd gladly get out of the way of incoming aircraft, no sense playing chicken

Yup, I think we've all been there. What I do is I practice the manouvers that I'll be doing a few days before I do it. We use the Inspire for commercial shoots by the way. And I always fly with a "spotter" beside me who looks out for objects that I might not be aware of and call them out.

I'm trying to build our own Y6 unit. My friend told me it performs better in high wind because of the smaller sail area it presents compared to hexa copters and quads.

I want to prolong the lifespan of my batteries and get the best out of them, how often do I have to do this?

I've had the exact same thing happen to our Inspire1. I was not able to discharge the three batteries that we have because it was raining outside. I flew it one week later too, same thing with you guys, the LEDs showed fully charged but once I put it on the unit, the DJI GO App registered 64% on...
