    X5R Workflow Notes

I got you now. FCPX does not read it. It only reads the original image.

    X5R Workflow Notes

I think in essence you understand it but when you work with a DNG file, you have a bunch of images which are of the quality the was captured by the camera sensor regardless of how you preview it. I am not sure why you bring up the lower quality in FCPX. So what are the differences A raw...

    X5R Workflow Notes

Sorry I misenderstood your question You would still get the high resolution images in FCPX, but they might need to be color corrected. One at a time unless compounded as you know. What you loose is access to the metadata

    X5R Workflow Notes

No, To get the raw footage out of an X5R is a two step process. A bit of education. A non raw footage capture by the camera is on the fly transformed from ones and zeros into viewable footage. You pop the card into the computer et voila, your footage is ready to be edited. The price you pay for...

    X5R Workflow Notes

FCPX reads a DNG sequence not as a sequence but as a bunch of jpegs. Da Vinci Resolve will read them as sequences (with all the raw advantages). To get the sequence out of the X5R SSD, you need to use their proprietary utility (there might be another one too) to export them. In the utility, just...

Correct me if i'm wrong - it's not possible to write to the SSD without a microSD on board?

I have done this once. Now I always have several SD cards on hand. When I am done with the shoot, I swap the recorded one for an empty one. Always.

Yes you will be able to use the raw files in PP. I don't remember if you have to have an SD card to record on the SSD because I never shot without an SD card. The reason is you can review your shots before having to transcode them from the SSD. Yes it "spits" out DNG files. Raw files are not...

I am open to constructive criticism on this video.

SanCac, your shooting is spot on. Very smooth cam action and very good framing. The edit is not as good. I am not sure what this video is about.

    Aerials of Silos

Shot Sunday 26th. Those abandoned silos, are standing there like four sentinels. Make sure you go to Vimeo and watch it in 2K It was shot raw with the Inspire 1. Then I have discovered color grading so I am having fun.

I think during the brief moment when you hit the shutter button, you were instantly transported to another galaxy in a planetary system with two suns. It's the only explanation. It is a nice photo. I just noticed the leaning horizon. If you correct this it will be an even better one. Sent from...

African airline reports drone collision with passenger jet

While impressive, radoms are relatively weak structures especially from the side. They house weather radar and have to be built so as not to interfere with radar emission. They got hit with something that's not a bird. Sent from my iPad using InspirePilots
