Just got an update from fedex this morning. The Osmo left China and is scheduled for delivery this Tuesday the 27th so I guess DJI was pretty close to being on time actually. I'm curious to see how well it works. I'll be posting after it arrives.

Holy smokes!!!!! The day I ordered it said 3-5 days then after 3 days it said 5-7 days. Maybe I'll get lucky. Today has been 13 days but they did state business days so we'll see. Thanks.

I ordered literally 30 seconds after the Osmo was available on the 8th and then a few days later I received a notice it would be delayed 5-7 days. I haven't heard a thing since. I'm just curious if anyone has received theirs yet?

DJI in a lot of situations doesn't even provide that good of a warranty so I do not see how a third part piece of software could afford to? It would be nice though.

I bought the app this morning after a conversation on an inspire1 user group over on FB thinking it had the inspire1 portion in it but it did not. Hopefully it will be in a later version so I don't have to pay 20.00 again.

As do I. I'm good now. My iphone6 works great in a pinch and we have a couple of ipad air2's around the house but I personally think those are too big. The mini2 fit my needs just right.

Actually this is not true. I have installed it on my original ipad mini but the lag is unbearable. Technically it can be done though.

Thanks for that info. Yeah I kind of know my way around computers as I have been in IT for over 15 years and programing since I was 14 (I'm now 45). I kind of know Apple as well as one of the first programming languages I learned was Pascal which was a primary language used by Apple early on...

I returned it to apple for another and the second one is fine so no worries. There was definitely something wrong with it.
