Why not just buy a new 47 or a used one that you can transfer a cell out of?

Im assuming your talking about the Peau Production lens? A replacement lens wouldn't work with my x3 because the lens wouldn't screw in far enough to focus.

Is that possible? Ive always updated the aircraft thru the camera and sd card....

Yea, wouldn't really be all that hard to make up one.

I really like the system, but thats ALOT of money for a few machined clamps and a few bent pieces of wire, and an allen wrench.

Me and my brother both have inspire 1 V1 with the x3 cam. My Inspire with the X3 is fully up to date. My brothers is not. I ended up borrowing his x3 cam for my inspire because mine broke and I needed it for a shoot. I put it on and asked if it was ok to update the cam to the newest firmware...

Would love to upgrade to the x5....what kind of money are you talking about on top of it?
