Actually ... how good is the Zenmuse X5?

Hmm, let's call it "doctor's order", but it was the time to quit all my aerial photography activities, cancel Vimeo subscription and fold down the whole thing. I'm alive, but not kicking anymore  ...

Inspire 1 battery mod: never ending crusade ...

Of course with X5 gimbal payload and average, much more aggressive flying, the flying time will be most likely reduced to 8-9 minutes ... Not much for practical use, but hey, it is some solution undoubtedly!

Is the Inspire 2 still relevant in 2021 after being 4 years old?

Did you post it to get a spiritual support from us, Inspire 2 happy owners 😁? Yes, I2 is the beast, the last of this kind in this price range. If she's delivering all the goods right from the open box, she will be a charm for years to come. If she isn't, however, she may be your worst nightmare...

    dLOG , it's normal?

Most of us seasoned Inspire users do not understand DJI's recipe for D-Log format, so you're not alone. It's been discussed to death and confirmed by many that the D-Log implementation by DJI is awkward and doesn't deliver expected benefits. However, X5S camera and raw video formats will deliver...

    Battery Mod Info

OK, OK, stop right here, now! No another personal vendetta, please ... By far we all know possible solutions, either with existing and still alive TB 47/48 batteries for Inspire 1 or still available batteries for M100/M600 drones. We all know that this will work only to a point where these...

    Battery Mod Info

So, the conclusion for today - July 07/2021 - is "DOABLE IN THEORY, NO WAY IN REALITY", right? Fly your Inspire 1 on remaining power of original DJI batteries while you can and hang the bird on the wall when they refuse to deliver ... And this is exactly what I'm gonna do! By the time TB50...

    Battery Mod Info

Brian, we've been talking a lot about this topic for months, both here and via personal messaging ... While I'm far for questioning your knowledge and expertise, I'm still confused trying to understand your intentions. What is the purpose of your involvement in this discussion? What is the...

Discontinued batteries for I1 - what now?

Partially based on my own experience I will say that the best and relatively hassle-free approach as for Summer 2021 is to purchase TB48D battery (for Matrice 100 drone) while these are still on the market, and simply swap the plastic top housing. This will involve un-snapping the white top off...

    Cruzroy Battery Mod

Haha, "canabialise" ... You mean "cannibalize", right? ... Well, unless you smoke a lot of cannabis stuff LOL ... No, that wasn't me. Cruzroy mentioned Arduino flight controller to replace original one, but this is really "cruzy" idea which may or may not work and has nothing to do with this...
