As mentioned above, the CS is aged without updates. I have 2 Ultra Brights & 2 standard.... all packed in storage, retired. Switched over to iPad Pro 11" without issues for M600, M210 & Inspire 2.

Have both Xoar and T-Motor folding... Both Great! You can also get the Xoar Quick Mounts, allows to spin them off quickly & remount if you don't want to modify case. I moved to new props not for transport, but for superior blade design and if ever a mild prop contact, the folding action...

If actually asking the question, the Inspire 3 will likely "be the platform" for a minimum of 5 yrs. Waiting for an Inspire 4 will require technology not available or discovered yet.. the Inspire 3 provides technology useable for years that the Inspire 2 lacks and greatly improve the Inspire...

It has a sticker shock for sure! Although compare the I2 initial prices, it was also similar price zone considering several years of inflation added into price factor. Battery cost between the I2 and I3 isn’t far apart either. For Kit price, add in the price of X7 payload, higher end battery...

added note on lenses... per the DJI Lens guide PDF. The new 18mm DL Lens is NOT backward compatible with the I2 X7. The 16mm DL-S Lens from I2 is compatible with the I3 X9 and X9 8K payloads.
