Do you know how often that map gets updated?

Is there an updated and searchable database for 333 exemptions that have been granted? I know you can search the FAA site but I wanted to be able to narrow it down by state easier.

Yes the Tau2 can display temp readings.

They are basing it off the Tau2 so it will be more expensive than the Vue equivalent.

Lets not forget all the extra work that comes with being legit. Filing flight plans, log books, etc.

I think it's useless as well but it doesn't mean I don't have to pay for it.

It is all about the money for me. I'll openly admit that. The guy operating illegally can price himself lower than I can. That's an unfair advantage. You realize not everyone flys for video right? Setting up an automated flight for topographical surveys and running the images through Pix4D...

Or maybe the fact that they didn't pay for insurance and the cost of a pilots license and therefore offer a service at a price that is undercutting you. We are still waiting for our exemption but you can bet that if I saw somebody that was skirting the rules I'd turn them in. I'll have 10s of...
