The mini 2 is barely cheaper than the mini 3. Mini 3 is only $330 at my local Costco. Air 2 is about $440. Is there a performance difference? Is there a reason why you prefer mini 2 over mini 3?

Which to get? And is the 16gb sufficient? Performance differences? I've read differing opinions about performance between mini 2 and mini 3, but cost differences are negligible. Clearly the Air 2 is the best via performance, but how does the mini compare? Edit: As the discussion has progressed...

I'm only finding the battery for the Phantom 2 when I search for that. Do you have a link? You're saying that the transmitter (aka controller) uses a lipo battery too, correct? XD

When you say 100w/h you're referring to the TB47's, and the 126w/h you're referring to the TB48's? And Tx's = Transmitters?? :D And lipos are the rechargeable batteries for use with the transmitters??? :D Sorry, new to the lingo. ;)

Which luggage frame did you get? Also, what foam did you buy to fill the luggage? LINKS PLZ! :D

Also, be wary of putting all your eggs in one basket with Apple... I wouldn't gamble money on DJI and Apple sorting things out. I'm guessing it's a bigger conflict than just the app not being approved. I've heard that they never received license use for the iPad or their thunderbolt in this way...

Why get the case? It comes with one from DJI.... Good setup though, don't forget your microsd cards 90mbps data rate. :)
