Calibrate Len Using Manual Focus Inspire 2 X5S

You got it almost right. Still, what you are referring to is "autofocus" calibration in DSLR where lens focus positions get micro-adjusted to camera focusing algorithm/metering - it is extremely unexpected for DJI to include any similar "autofocus calibration" as none of DJI cameras has any...

Any experience with dual band boosters and dual band antennas on I2?

Thank you! That are great news! Some of the previuos reviews that I found on Youtube, as well as some on this forum, claimed that DJI Patch antenna bundled with an Candence, works solely on 2.4GHz band. Some of them ware unsatisfied of its performance... It is great to hear that they ware wrong...

Any experience with dual band boosters and dual band antennas on I2?

Thanks for the reminder. As silly as it could sound, I still prefer to find myself as "pilot in FULL command", flying Atti, without sensors interference, without obstacle avoidance and complex RTH modes... Only alarms on hardware malfunctions are welcome :)

Any experience with dual band boosters and dual band antennas on I2?

Thanks a lot for the info, it is nice to know key steps that worked well for you. I will give it a try for sure.

Any experience with dual band boosters and dual band antennas on I2?

That is really tempting solution, but it is constantly evolving effort, challengeed with every new app version and new firmwares coming, Nevertheless, I am really interested in that topic, and made some test myself with earlier GO App 3 and Inspire 1, with mixed success... When switched to I2 I...

Any experience with dual band boosters and dual band antennas on I2?

With due recpect, it would not be the first time that DJI publishes misleading semi-correct info. Please note that stick antennas are linearly polarized omnidirectional whips, therefore they radiate strongest signal in direction perpendicular to antenna while weakest signal is on antenna axis...

Any experience with dual band boosters and dual band antennas on I2?

Here are some details which I learned in communication with members of certain Facebook group: James Crutchfield: The stock antennas on the Inspire 2 rc are dual band. The same goes for the Cendence. The two patch antennas are 5.8 antennas for dual camera ops. So, it seems that the same two...

    ** INSPIRE 2 - NEW T MOTOR FOLDING PROPS **

I kindly thank you for the info. Regarding dicarding any props that hit anything I completely agree. In years of using I1 I had several close contacts with small branches, while never got aircraft crashed as props never broke more then a small chip - my question is about "survivability" of a...

    ** INSPIRE 2 - NEW T MOTOR FOLDING PROPS **

They really look pro-grade! I guess that any vibration issues are nonexistent. Still I have some questions: - does I2 fit in stock case with this T-Motor folding props mounted? - does carbon-fiber props break easily in many pieces if prop hits some small tree branch? are carbon-fiber props more...

    CineSSD strategy

I fully agree. One should note that offload time depends on offload read speed as well as write speed of target disk :) If offloading to onother SSD, let's assume that write speed is at least 300MB/s, then 300GB would take 1000 seconds (aprox. 17 minutes), while full 480GB drive would offload in...

Any experience with dual band boosters and dual band antennas on I2?

I am looking for potential mod of I2 stock controller or Candence controller, to gain stronger emission and reception, in order to have reliable control and video signal in urban areas and when flying over water... So, while studying all info which I could gather, I got a bit confused on I2...

    EL Mode after Latest Firmware

Than you for detailed info, I really appreciate your input. To my best knowledge, middle gray output as well as top white output should vary as you change EI sensitivity - output drops as you lower sensitivity due to curve scaling. According to the whitepaper, for EI 1600 middle gray shoud sit...

    EL Mode after Latest Firmware

May I aks you which EI sensitivity did you test - 100, 200, 400, 800 or 1600? It seems from the whitepaper that curve scales so max. value shifts down as you chose lower EI - what waveform value did you choose for middle gray and what was your highlight value? Then, did you test how new D-Log...

    EL Mode after Latest Firmware

Exposure Index (EI) works in the way that there is valid Log curve set only for one base (native) sensitivity (ISO) while other sensitivities are derivatives of that baseline. There is whitepaper on new D-Log D-Gamut published next to X7 camera, while it is for X5S and X7 is not metioned there...

Calibrate Len Using Manual Focus Inspire 2 X5S

I did not try it myself on I2/X5S, still it is importnant to note that for I1/X5 manual focus calibration you should: 1. enable MF Focus Assistant 2. start calibration, which automaticaly set you in Video mode, and then you should change to Photo mode AFTER your start calibration. 3. finish...
