Forgot to answer the obvious... Selling it because I've flown it 10 times in 10 months. It's $4500 of hardware that just sits there, so I'm going to move down to something less expensive like a mavic or p4p. It's a beautiful machine but I'm not getting the use out of it I thought I would.

The inspire 1 still has kinks... If you're looking for a kink-free drone, you're going to be waiting a long time.

I2 for these reasons: upgrade-ability, two person operation, and last - ability to fly in higher wind and no props in your shots :)

My I2 does 60mph in sport. Not sure what's wrong with yours. Yep I've noticed.

There is a way to get it to work again while flying. Go up high in the air and initiate an auto landing. Once it starts, switch the craft to A mode. Then try toggling the manual gear switch again and it should work. Remember when you go into A mode it will drift with the wind.

I use h265 because it does better any time there is a lot of motion on screen, such as panning, a river, etc. In post, you need to use a proxy workflow. For example I use premiere pro, it auto ingests the source files, creates proxies that are easier to work with (h264, prores, etc) and then...

There is a way to unstick the auto landing. It's a known issue it sounds like. To fix, fly up about 50 feet, and initiate an auto landing. When it starts to auto land, switch to A mode then back to P. You should then be able to flip the gear up/down.
