K stupid question, I'm on 1.8 with aircraft but 1.9 on camera (for osmo), why would the aircraft firmware affect camera? The only reason I haven't upgraded aircraft is I've heard of a few issues with 1.9. I'm a newbie to high end digital photography so you guys are light years ahead of me...

How do you get maps and location if you never connect to the internet?

I'm going with this guy from WalMart. I was worried about the metal legs and hinge, but seems to only throw compass readings off by about 20 pints average and still well within normal. I won't know for sure until I do a few take offs and landings. I might shave down the legs a little though...

In PNR (prairie Northern Region), there are three types of standing sfoc you can apply for. Fixed criteria option 1 and 2, and option 3 os full application and open criteria

Hey all. Finally made the upgrade from phantom pro to Inspire pro. So new I haven't even had time to get her in the air! (This weekend hopefully after casing a shoot Saturday). Going to love all the control that the camera gives! I'll have to make sure I have a spotter for a while because...

I might even want a dual shoot, ground and air, and maybe want the X5 on the ground for close-ups and the X3 in the air... actually that makes pretty good sense as we do not need depth of field from the air as much as we would want it on the ground.

I don't understand why they can't make the osmo X3 work on the Inspire, when they can make the inspire X3 work on the osmo. Some of us bought the pro black and already had an osmo. I don't have an Inspire X3, but might like a backup or lower budget longer flight time camera on some shoots...
