I ended up sending it in to DJI and they said it was the camera and replaced it with a brand new one at no charge. Has been working great ever since.

User6895 - did you ever find out how to maintain continue focus in AF mode or do you just have to keep tapping focus?

I ultimately had to send my copter to DJI for service so they could take a look. They said it was internal within the x5 gimbal and replaced it with a new one. Everything works now.

I will take a closer look at the ribbons, good idea. I've only checked so far by peaking around the gimbal mount.

Xrover - are you experiencing any issues with Gimbal roll? Mine is taking several seconds to straighten out after moving around. All other parts of the update went well.
