If the SSD is inserted and not full the raw video will be recorded onto it. You MUST have an SD card inserted too, otherwise you wont be able to record at all. Other than that there's nothing else you need to do besides setting proper resolution and frame-rate.

X5R is NOT good in low light situations. Try and get your hands on it to see for yourself. Maybe DJI can improve the camera behavior in the future by means of firmware updates but as it is today you'd be better of hiring a drone platform that can take a greater camera up there for night shots.

Yes, the X5R sensor is VERY noisy, in fact you cannot use an ISO setting higher than 400 or you footage will be completely ruined. Just get used to the idea I guess, I already learned not to expect much from this camera in low light situations.

It affects the metadata but not the RAW files, which means, it doesnt affect the RAW footage which was the actual question.

Color profile among with sharpness/saturation/contrast settings do not affect the raw footage in any way. It is strictly for H264 files saved to the microsd card.

What are you viewing your DNG's with? Can you upload the actual DNG? Cant try reproducing the issue using a JPG file. I suspect it's likely an issue with either RAW settings or RAW reader. Do these artifacts show up in other viewers too?
