    Firmware v1.4.0.10 - 7th Sept 2015 Released

I would pat yourself on the back one more time for good measure that you didn't have any problems updating! Now if you are all done praising yourself maybe the people that aren't so lucky can get some actual help! Not criticizing anyone!! :p

    Pilot Skill Irrelevant? (Disgruntled)

Where at? I live at Bismarck!

SMH (Drone crashes at U.S. Open)

He is Very lucky no one was sitting where it crashed! I can't believe anyone could be stupid enough to think there is nothing wrong about flying over the U.S. Open while there is play going on! They don't even want whispers out of the people watching and he thinks it ok to be buzzing overhead of...

SMH (Drone crashes at U.S. Open)

It sounded like he was arrested. If he intentionally fly into the U.S. Open I hope they throw the book at him! Make an example to the rest of the morons out there!!

    Defeating airport lock out

I only want the aircraft I purchased back! If you bought a car for its performance and the factory decides to cut your power in half for better fuel mileage with out a government mandate and with out your permission this would be OK with you ?

    Defeating airport lock out

I had one before DJI starting adding restraints and taking away video channels and video range in thier fw updates! I have to agree with SultanGris on this one! I HAD an awesome machine when I first got it and with every update It is less and less what I bought and paid for. Your not...

Disabling the No Fly Zone protection

It's really to bad that I'm going to have to show the FAA I'm willing to charge someone for something I would gladly do for free just so I can get my certification so I can then fly unrestricted with my i1 :( That is, once I pay off the FAA! I wonder how many other certified hobbyists there...

Disabling the No Fly Zone protection

So does a certifiied UAV pilot also get the altitude restriction and I'm sure to come, distance restriction unlocked for that price? I'm sure there will be clients somewhere wanting you to fly higher and farther than the restrictions placed on hobbyist will allow. :) It's always amazed me what...

how far can i fly my inspire safely

If your strictly flying by line of sight then the limiting factor is your eyes. You will have full control way beyond what your eyes are capable of. Another thing to consider while flying vlos is the farther away you get the harder it is to tell how close or far away from something you are...

Yarra River - Melbourne Australia (the Flying Duc)

A quadcopter can fly with 3 motors with full yaw applied. Will the i1? I have no idea! :) A full sized helicopter will not fly with a motor failure either. :)

UK Overriding DJI's No Fly Zones

Maybe the nfz's were implemented because of the known problem of flyaways being experienced by some rather than being implemented because hobbyists don't have a clue how to make intelligent decisions? I guess if one is being paid to fly the i1 the possibility of a flyaway diminishes? There are...

    Inspire gimbal horizont issues

I'm guessing that flyaways, batteries going from 70% to 5% and everything else that could possibly crash the i1 is higher on the priority fix list than a tilted horizon that not everyone is experiencing.

    FYI - Inspire Pilots

I would always do anything I could to avoid having an incident with a manned machine. I'm quite sure no one would want that to happen. I really think this kind of mentality should come from both sides though. I mean our RC club has had its paved airstrip in the same place for 20 years yet we are...

    Defeating airport lock out

That's right "if you enter a restricted area" but if your are already in this NFZ zone when you get a gps lock it will kill the motors from what I have seen living in a nfz and doing some experimentation. Maybe things have changed with the later fw updates but when the NFZ was first implemented...
