I pre-ordered on Nov 14 direct from DJI and have received no email other than the one sent on Nov 28 apologizing for the delay. I would not get my hopes up based upon a random post on a message board. Put this in the "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is" category. My two cents...

Ah it's snowing heavily, -23 C outside right now with the wind gusting to 40 kph. Wind chill is -36 C. I have a feeling that the shipping delay won't matter much to me...LOL

While the new guidelines do open up opportunities up here, there are still limits. For example commercial flying over populated areas will be restricted in most cases as it does not fall within the exemptions listed. Those operators wanting to fly in conditions that do not meet the exemptions...

Pre-ordered dual controller option direct from DJI Nov 13. Same 21 business days as reported by others. Maybe I'll gift wrap it and put it under the tree for myself... A transport case and extra batteries will be a must. Any thoughts on preferred display options?
