Thanks Andreas, All devices are updated to the latest firmware, just have to wait for the X5 update as it is apparently due. Hopefully this will solve the issue.

I have just purchased this lens, it works for a brief period on initial start up but then the app informs me that the camera doesn't recognise the lens, the lens then starts zooming in and out constantly. Sorry 14-42 lens!

Could anyone shed some light on my Olympus 14-22mm lens that when attached to the x5 briefly works for a moment then the camera doesn't recognise the lens. The lens then just zooms in and out constantly. Seen a few threads but no answers..... Help!

Hi Sean, Did you have any joy fixing your Oly 14-22mm zooming issue, have the same problem! Really frustrating!
