Hmmm well unless there is an updated X5r coming out, i highly doubt there is a prores encoding board hidden inside the current camera. They could be meaning prores via transcodes of raw with cinelight/resolve.. I wish i was wrong but id suspect its just marketing..

I only ever shoot None with my X5r. There is so much shadow info that can be pulled out ive never seen the benefit of bothering with cine d or d log, its raw after all. ..i only ever shoot None of my x5 as well tbh.. too compressed to bother grading it. Get it right in camera or shoot raw.

Had a run in with a tree yesterday and broke my vibration plate, luckily my x5r was fine. I managed to snap my x5 vibration plate in half and also popped a rubber damper! Now this was something new to me, id never noticed but the isolators/damper that came with my Inspire RAW had a lubricant...

I had the purple data issue the other day on a mag, a mix of both osmo and inspire. Only the osmo stuff was purple (im guessing this is normal?) I exported it out of cinelight and it all loaded up fine in resolve, No purple.

If youre shooting RAW there is no reason to shoot Log.. unless you require log on the h264s.

Got my X5 adapter finally, now i need to update firmware on my X5r to work with the osmo. Currently it turns on fine however i get no video signal to my phone. I can however control all the camera settings and hit record. So can anyone confirm that upgrading OSMO RAW Firmware v1.1.0.10 will not...

Finally got an edit up - make sure to watch it in 4k even if youre screens res is lower, there is still a decent quality bump.

The little + and - on the bottom left add and remove clips from external drives.

When you add clips in cinelight that are on a HDD, they get added into Local Library. Unfortunately you only seem to be able to have 1 local library which is a fail in my opinion.

It might be a preference thing.. Which firmware are you running?

Is it just me, or is my RAW now coming in a bit more under exposed than the older firmware? Its nice to not have the Black issue, but this is odd. Or maybe I was just under exposed?
