    GPS Litchi accuracy ?

Hi all, many thanks for your comments and sorry that it caused a bit of a Barney! But all good and generally constructive food for thought from all. I'm happy to report that I nailed the shot this morning and sending to my client now so fingers crossed they feel the same. In the end I decided...

    GPS Litchi accuracy ?

Hi Eduardo, thanks for replying. I like the sound of Focus Mode and think that could work well. So basically I only have to worry about maintaining a good 45º slope when coming in towards the sign and Litchi should keep the sign centre of frame. I'll give it a go. Many thanks. Jon

    GPS Litchi accuracy ?

Hi Ed, many thanks for the feedback. I think you're right but I do have a Bad Elf pro 2200 though and this doesn't use the cell network for getting it's position (i believe), so wondered if I could improve my chances of getting better accuracy with this? The speed throughout the flight is set...

    GPS Litchi accuracy ?

Hi all, i've been trying to complete a job that requires flying towards a sign on a building. The flight starts from approx 40 metres high and 40 metres distance from the sign and going down to 5 metres high where it stops at around 2 metres from the sign. So quite a steep descent needing the...

Cycle discharge required, performed and...required again...and again...

Thanks for the info Ed, much appreciated. I just assumed they came from the U.S. because the price was quoted in dollars. I will send Alex an email to check lead time etc. Thanks again, Jon

Cycle discharge required, performed and...required again...and again...

Hi Ed, i'm very interested in getting a couple of these. Do you know if anyone deals them in the UK? I'd prefer not to wait ages and pay postage from America. Thanks in advance, Jon

    Olympus 45mm Test Shot

Thanks Eamon, and thanks for the link. Haven't been able to fly for a while due to wind but will try your method with an ND when I can. Will probably invest in after effects as well. Cheers, Jon

    Olympus 45mm Test Shot

Hi EamonUrtone, that's a great example of using the 45mm Olympus. I've also used it but haven't got anywhere near the clean stable footage you have. Can I ask what you used to stabilise in post and if you changed any dampers or tweaked anything to achieve such good results? Cheers, Jon

How to balance the new 1345T quick release props...

Hi Joe, thank you for your comprehensive reply; all extremely useful information. If you do have the time to make an instructional video on dynamic balancing that would be fantastic and may even give me the balls to try it (observing closely all of yours and Ed's safety advice), and hoping I...

How to balance the new 1345T quick release props...

Thanks for your reply skynet, Still no word from Joe. I'm really not confident about using the laser method so would like to stick with the static approach if possible. I'll try and buy a couple of spare motor hubs I think for now and get the EJH rod to go with them. Would you happen to know...

How to balance the new 1345T quick release props...

Hi Joe, firstly, thank you for all of the time and effort you've put in to coming up with a solution for balancing the 1345T props. I've been trying to balance mine for quite a while now and am still no closer to a solution i'm confident has actually balanced them correctly. The reason I really...

Inspire chasing a Phantom 2 with Autopilot and Airspace

I didn't actually make it out in the end. A new TB48 was delivered that morning and I spent some time charging and updating the firmware. Then I spent more time familiarising myself with the camera settings so I could get to the adjustments quickly when airborne. Then the dog was haranguing me...
