If the X9 were compatible with the I2 I imagine it’d have a similar spec flight time to the Airpeak (maybe 15 min?), but the E-mount lens system is far more mature than DL-mount. For me that makes the Airpeak the clear move if full frame is the main objective (over a hypothetical I2+X9 combo)...

Have you tried the Mavic 3? I just got one and so far I am impressed, though have not really put it through its paces yet. Filtering options will be very limited which is the biggest downside I’ve seen so far. For reference, I am a pure landscape photographer.

I owned that lens for E-Mount and it was very sharp. I’d say your best bet would be to buy one and try it, then sell it if it doesn’t work. They’re very cheap on the used market, often under $100.

I would also be interested in the answer to this. I know that it used to be that none of the Sigma lenses worked on the X5 but as you say those tests were done years ago. I know that the Sigma 56 1.4 works on the X5S as of ~2 years ago which makes me wonder if a software update fixed the lens...
