Had the same issue. After a ton of back and forth with DJI and a very long thread on the DJI site it ended up being the version of IOS and the app. DJI fixed the GO app and I am back in action. It made no sense as to why the issues where there but with the latest DJI GO app it has cleared

Carbon fiber props are said to be a bit softer sounding.. I have them on my Inspire 1. I can tell you truthfully you wont be sneaking up on anyone with the drone in the air.

I just went DJI and followed instructions for setting up service call. They are the DJI New York store . It was the easiest process so that is why I went with them for repair. My warranty is long gone and drones are modded anyway. Carbon props and amplified RC so its all out of pocket at this point.

I just use the DJI battery heater. I know some flight time is wasted but the process of heating but I have never had any issues. I flew as cold as -8F. Only issue I had was my fingers were so cold I could barely handle the sticks and that was wearing touch screen gloves
