Hi Shannon..I have had my i1 for a couple of months now and have experienced similar.I was advised by an I.T tech that the pc I was using may not be capable of handling 4k.I purchased newer pc/laptop and problem seems to be sorted.before more cash outlay why don't you try using a friends...
