    Over Discharging TB50 Batteries

On a side note; there's been some issues here and there (with I2) before but a new firmware update was just released... I just read that a few minutes ago actually.

    Over Discharging TB50 Batteries

On my I1 charger. I have to give her a little wiggle literally every time to get a charge.

    Over Discharging TB50 Batteries

Have you updated the firmware on the remote and drone? I'm not familiar with the I2. If it is nearly new, call DJI (If they speak English). This is an Asian company and their products have been a little iffy.

    Dual Camera for Inspire 1

I'm actually designing an infrared camera light with 850NM 10W IR LEDs (for myself). I'm awaiting the shipment yet. I'd be interested in soley designing IR systems for quadcopters if there's any future interest. I can say that the previous IR lighting I've designed is far brighter than anything...

    Over Discharging TB50 Batteries

I'm not an Inspire 2 owner. But on the Inspire 1, the manual clearly states to drain the batteries till' the drone turns off (every 10 cycles) Now, on the Inspire 1, there's 12 Li Poly cells. 2 packs in series for 6 total cells that the system can sense. However, the batteries being in parallel...

    Australia Drone Training Courses

I wouldn't take a drone class unless it was a US military drone. The larger, more expensive drones are stupidly easy to navigate. The plastic toy ones are a bad example. A 9 year old that has experience playing Xbox or Playstation with dual joysticks would most likely exceed the requirements to...

USA Opportunity for a paid gig but has a possible issue.....

Technically, in an unrestricted zone you are good to go. But flying above people is restricted. That doesn't make a lot of sense because If I were flying at 400ft I see landscape and no people. If I were to call my township/Sheriff/Police Dept, they wouldn't give a xxxx. OR they may be utterly...

CrystalSky backlight failure - quick fix

It sounds like the supplier of the screen or LCD and/or LED board had faulty parts shipped out during a period.

iPad mini2 vs samsung galaxy 5 (yet yet yet)

I'm an Android guy. And I own more Android devices than I can count on two hands. I only have 1 that works decently. The Chinese company DJI appears to invest less effort in Android. I had to go buy a freakin' iPad just tofly the dang thing. And the newer but lower end 32gb iPad (2017) has...

    Motor overload and Critical voltage

Highly doubt it's the contacts. Bad design from the start. Hadn't dug too deep yet but try this from the manual. Had the same issue with 1 battery (has 10 cycles). I've had "motor overload" nearly a dozen times. Could have been the 30 to 40F temps. I completely drained the batteries except for...

CrystalSky backlight failure - quick fix

I keep reading about this device. I'd never seen it but I continue to read many complaints about the quality. It appears rather pricey for what it is. I can't say if it's good or bad but if there's this many complaints I'm definitely going to avoid buying this device.

Hawaii - which island to go droning?

On Oahu head northeast to Kaneohe and follow King Kamehameha Highway (83). The bus will go all the way to Turtle Bay (North Shore). Along this winding ocean side highway you can stop and view the beaches and some of the locations below. Beware, it may be a bit overpopulated in some locations. -...

    Battery Mod Info

I'd seen a comment about how the Inspire 1 can sense battery capacity. How exactly is it doing this? I'm a bit curious about that because I may mod a battery one day. I'm no professional on the Intelligent battery but I've created a few Li-Po packs for unrelated projects. I'd imagine that the...

iPad Pro WiFi or Cellular with Inspire 2

You are correct. Well then, that's a disappointment. It looks like the GPS IS integrated in to the mobile transmitter/reciever hardware. I was completely unaware that it did not include GPS. This should be a standard feature for a device that costs a premium over an Android tablet. But, I didn't...

iPad Pro WiFi or Cellular with Inspire 2

I know just a little about iPads and I recently bought the basic 9.7". I'm assuming the "cellular" model is the same device with the addition of CDMA or GSM hardware for use with your mobile carrier. So you'll be paying a fee for mobile data. I had to take a peek at my "non-cellular" model to...
