    Complete I2 package -France

Hey guys, I'm selling my package. I'm located in Annecy, France, will ship in Europe. I2 replaced by DJI after a motor failure on original copter : new copter with less than 10hrs flown on it ! Cendence pilot radio with CrystalSky Ultra, GPS, patch antenna, SDI out Inspire radio for camera op...

Is the Inspire 2 still relevant in 2021 after being 4 years old?

I'm thinking that there's still quite a bit of stock around so we should still be able to fy for quite some time

Is the Inspire 2 still relevant in 2021 after being 4 years old?

It seems that all other than I2 drones are locked at 100mbps bitrate and that's a severe limitation, footage between Mavics and I2 are quite hard to match

Is the Inspire 2 still relevant in 2021 after being 4 years old?

True. As long as you don't crash they can fly for many more years. My P4P has over 1000hrs and still flies good (gimbal is starting to become weak) !

Is the Inspire 2 still relevant in 2021 after being 4 years old?

I don't think that there will be ever. DJI is an infuriating company at times and most of all their industrial strategy makes no sense at all, not unlike that of Apple actually who also has let people down (HomePod)...

Is the Inspire 2 still relevant in 2021 after being 4 years old?

I agree. I fly the hell out of my I2, and it still delivers 200%. I wish those bumf*cks at DJI would their fingers out of their butts and finally update the CS app, the copter fw etc, in other word support it. But other than that it really is an amazing tool, a true step up from my S900/GH4 combo.

    I2 on offshore rigs

My client is a major oil company, what they request I give them. They treat me fabulously, it's the very least I can do for them. We have an ongoing project that will require different focal lenses, among other things.

    I2 on offshore rigs

It's not a question of calibrating compass in presence of magnetic interferences as they are absolutely everywhere, rather being able to take off from a metallic structure with an I2. It's possible with a P4P though but I understand that the I2 won't allow take off.

Is the Inspire 2 still relevant in 2021 after being 4 years old?

It is however fairly limited when winds pick up. The P4P is a beast in windy conditions and the camera still holds up perfectly. More robust all around.

Have you shot legal drone footage of those cathedrals in Europe ?

Well, I just checked and I'm not the owner of the images so no joy. Too bad because droning inside the cathedral was wild ! Ah je vois que tu es français... C'était pour l'Angle Eco et 13h15 sur F2... J'ai pas les droits pour te les passer... Dommage !

Is the Inspire 2 still relevant in 2021 after being 4 years old?

It is indeed a tough drone. Flying time is a tad on the low side, but with proper planning usually it's not an issue. IQ iq more than enough for 99% of the jobs out there, stepping up for a bigger camera is a lot more money, for me, between the P4P and the I2 it covers more than my needs, and I...

    I2 on offshore rigs

It does help to catch it back in sure. For compass calibration not so much. I've done hundreds of take offs and landings from boats, wether with the P4 or the I2 and it's important to have a trained person handling the drone while taking off and also a good view of the wind direction in order to...

Have you shot legal drone footage of those cathedrals in Europe ?

I have shot Notre Dame for a french tv show. Inside and out, before the fire.

    I2 on offshore rigs

I'm wondering if anyone has done offshore rigs flying ? I'm used to do it with my P4P, but my client is asking for higher quality footage, so I'll have to take the I2 out to sea. I've done litterally hundreds of hours of P4P chasing our LNG tankers on open seas (nerve-wracking at first, because...
