when I first got my inspire 2 the range was not that good I took the landing feet apart to exchange for new antennas. the antenna boards were installed incorrect and I watched this video to connect and place them as it should and my range was 100% better. I.ll do another search on youtube...

you can use the connector from an X3 plate too....same connection

your descending in your own prop wash. turbulent air under your drone creates instability because your descending through that turbulence straight down ...if you descent and fly forward backwards or side ways the unstability is much less
