yes. you want to upgrade the firmware to .16 level, and you want to calibrate the IMU after the shipping -- these are the 2 things you dont need to do every flight

i dont think the ios app is related to this. mine was "stuck" once, but i think the Tx was out of sync with the aircraft. i reset both (turned off and then on) and it worked. there have been posts that it needs to be a smooth surface - mine went into travel mode on the tarmac of the parking...

i loaded .92 APP onto my phone, and it only has the one "IMU calibration" button in the MC Settings/Advanced Settings/Sensors dialog. what i can test is if the .91 APP contains the logic to refuse to fly if the IMU is out of whack - only DJI know if this logic was added to the firmware logic...
