DJI had a nasty habit of changing things in each version of the Go App without telling is as well. I wish there was an easy way to go back to previous versions of the Go App on Apple devices without jail breaking.

I doubt that anybody at DJI knows the correct procedure . Their tech support people know less about their products than their customers do . How did you "sort it" for future reference?

Great idea. Might confuse the DJI techs if we have to send our birds in though. I would change mine today except its still under warranty and DJI don't need any extra excuses to refuse claims.
