Systemic I2 failure when DNG/Prores installed

I did the same. Tried different cards, faster cards... no difference. I had never considered it was associated with the prores/dng upgrade which was done quite a while after purchasing the I2 and X7 in late 2017. This is a random issue with my I2/X7 but always with manual camera controls (no...

Systemic I2 failure when DNG/Prores installed

I have experienced this issue with my I2 and X7 (prores/DNG) while taking RAW stills full frame and writing to the SD card. I assumed the slow down and random green images were an issue with the SD card. I will do more testing. This would randomly occur after shooting as few as 30 frames.

    Listening in on ATC

In the US the civil aircraft communications band is 118 to 137 MHz. This is the least expensive portable (battery powered) receiver (not transceiver) I have seen. TSC-100RA Airband Scanner

    Inspire 2 Strange Battery Behavior

I had the same warning appear with fully charged batteries just before takeoff. One battery was not seated fully in the I2. Ejected it and reinserted it tightly. All was good thereafter. Another possibility may be your I2's battery contacts may be tarnished. Somewhere in the manual it says to...

    Oregon small aircraft drone strike

The drone this Cessna 170 struck could have been a P4. The distance between the two dents is about 10 inches. The landing gear or the motors could have made contact. It was not a very large drone. A bird strike usually makes one dent and leaves blood and feathers.

    Listening in on ATC

Live ATC won't help at a Class E airport. Most (but not all) air traffic will be announcing position and intentions on the airport's CTAF (Common Traffic Advisory Frequency). Radio communication is advised, but not required. Though rare, some airplanes at a Class E airports do not have radios...
