I had the cable problem, I bought a cheap knockoff at Canadian tire and it frequently would not connect, this is a known problem with knockoff cables. When I got a genuine Apple cable, I had no problems.

Anecdote FWIW, I sold my Inspire 1Pro a couple of years ago mainly because it was very hard to find replacement batteries. With some regrets now. I bought a M2P which does take nice photographs which are good enough for my work as a journalist but it does not compare to the I1P. With the choice...

I have seen the same but have assumed that this represents a group of pixels that are in focus. It may pick up a roughly elliptical or circular grouping but presents it as a rectangle or a square. Just a guess.

Sorry Kevin, I‘m keeping it as a complete kit, all the accessories were purchased for specific reasons, projects etc. that make it a full pro kit for anyone involved in filming. Quite a few things not listed including lead balance weights, lens hoods, winter battery cover, etc

Interesting, off topic, but I believe the X5 does not have any ir, uv or moire filter. So isn’t it already a very broad spectrum sensor? I use a screw on IR/UV filter because I was told it would prevent some of the high contrast edge fringing (chromatic aberration) but not sure I saw any...

If yr the original owner, then I’d send it to DJI for repair. I have returned two X5’s with serious damage and very pleased with the service. Both cases were under $200, they provided a quote and there was no charge for shipping, either direction.
