We didn't have the settings set to that to happen, just wondering if it was a possibly if the drone realised RTH wasn't possible for whatever reason, to then attempt a direct landing below?

It 100% did not RTH as the drone would be in possession and I'm quite sure it made no attempt to RTH as surely we would have regained connection if it was coming back to us? Do you know if its possible for the drone to stop in the air where it lost connection and attempt to land directly below?

I agree with not knowing conclusively but unfortunately without the drone being sent to DJI I don't think I'll ever know exactly what caused it. As for landing to determine the cause before resuming that's a painful lesson learnt... All fully insured though so not the end of the world.

Hi guys, posting this to hopefully help out others. I was on a job the other day photographing and filming a navel ship with an Inspire 2 + X5S. Managed to get some good footage of the ship but after about 5 minutes had a warning saying 'magnetic interference, switch to ATTI if aircraft changes...

I'm looking at buying a Samsung Tab A to be used by the camera op and slave controller. Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with these devices? I fly the Inspire 2 with an iPad mini so there would be a cross of apple and android devices being used at the same time if that could also be...

Thanks for all the help guys. Got in to the office this morning, powered up the Inspire and both batteries are reading 97% and 4.22 volts, so its seems to have resolved itself. In future I'll be taking the percentages with a pinch of salt and relying more on the voltages.

I'll try running them down to 0% and see if that makes a difference. If it remains the same and the volts are still fine, would you guys say its safe to continue flying with that set of batteries? Very new to the world of drone pilots

Just taken this a second ago, slightly different from when I first posted.

All showing the exact same, the batteries have only been charged about 10 times too.

Both batteries are showing the exact same volts but different percentages. Both have been fully charged, one shows as 100% and the other at 93%. Is this something to be worried about?
