What happens if a Olympus 14-42 isn’t ‘updated’?

I’m seeing this new Panasonic Lens for like $150 is it compatible with X5 PANASONIC LUMIX G LENS, 25MM, F1.7 ASPH., MIRRORLESS MICRO FOUR THIRDS, H-H025K (USA BLACK)

I know this .. but it’s still fast

I’m not talking about being able to zoom in and out.. I’m talking about adjusting the speed and smoothness of the zoom

I use the pancake 14-42 works well except for a grinding noise at times

I seen this as a feature added to DJI Go .. I haven’t upgraded my App and was wondering if this feature works with the X5 and Olympus 14-42 Zoom lens?

Well it’s a latch that operates with the landing gear .. you can hook up anything you want to release . If you’re talking about attaching a alternative gps tracking device .. you can just stick that on .. unless you need to drop it on or in something (truck, boat, goat) .. the reason I did this...
