I used the very same closed cell foam but used clear packing tape instead. Much lighter than the Spaceloft material sample i bought.

Saw several remotes on Ebay, most were the earlier A version, i bidded on two of them, sold just beyond my current budget.

What is the best screen size you think? 7" or go to 9?

Someone posted a page of recent compatible devices and other than the Ipads and the Crystalsky the Nexus 7 2013 version was rated pretty good. I could buy the Ipad if needed but i have been and currently using right now a 12.2 inch Tab Pro, bit too big for the remote though.

You know what i really want is the second slave remote, my son is 24, he is a video gamer big time, bought him a cheap drone for his birthday, flew it like an expert. I want him to fly the Inspire and i will operate the camera is what I'm thinking.
