Seems like a a trend is starting to form with the Inspire 1 falling out of the sky with complete power shutdown, with mine DJI refused to look at the logs only saying it must have been an old battery as my Inspire was 3 years old. The logs indicate no problem with the battery!! I am wondering...

After many emails backwards and forwards between myself and DJI, they refused to examine the flight log from the internal SD card, offered me a small discount on repairs to appease me. I guess they aren't willing to admit a fault in their product when one exists, maybe we will see another safety...

My Inspire 1 fell out of the sky from 15M the other day, 4th flight of the day, Powered up with fresh battery charged night before, waited for initialisation and home point to be updated, took off and retracted gear while climbing to 15M, stabilised in hover not touching controls saw 'landing...

Anyone have any experience with 'Drones for hire'? Is it any good or just 50 people quoting on the one job??

I'm using it but only the basic package, I haven't upgraded to the pro package but I believe you can have a trial. They have a special on for 20% off pro and 25% off enterprise at the moment, I am thinking of trialling it and maybe taking advantage of the special as I am happy with the logbook...

Hi Southerndoug, Who did you have for your assessment? Did you have to do any extra stuff other than the exercises? Mostly in Atti or mix of GPS and Atti? I have my assessment coming up soon..

Only 1 GPU with 512MB RAM. I have tried to play directly from SD card and from HDD with same result, stuttering. Could it perform better with a faster SSD?

I haven't tried Final Cut but it stutters in VLC also, I might try and get a demo version of FC to try.

Marnix, You should go back to them if you still have your original email correspondence, the battery warranty is 6 months or 200 cycles as per the DJI website.
