if they can increase this with firmware why would they have it at 60Mbps in the first place? i guess what may be more important is how it compresses the files to be that size? after all it's most likely that we would compress it further to share it with customers etc

Compared to most 4K cameras it's a low bit rate, apparently due to micro SD limitations, but surely it's a big enough camera that it could of had a full size SD. Either way should we care? and is there a show real of just X5 footage as i'm guessing we are all looking at and being amazed by the X5R?

Great to have a camera update but 60mbps from the X5 is a bit of a let down! it means really to get the real benefits it's got to be the X5R at 1.7gbps when all they needed to do was make the X5 200mbps

tap the hd signal icon and switch it to manual, choose a clear channel and then select the quality! Hopefully they will change it so you can have it select the channel and we just select the quality but you have to select the channel for now.

we find that when we use 2 controllers you need to lower the feed quality in order to maintain good quality on the 2nd controller. Were using 2 x Nvidia Shields. Even the low setting is more than enough for framing the shots etc

thanks do you have another device to try to see if you still get the gps drop? i find it very odd that the tablet can affect the gps, i can understand the image loss.

Hi out of interest are you using a iPad Mini or iPad mini 2? i'm using a mini 2 don't have the image issue just gps. maybe i should try 0.91 or are there some known issues with 0.91?

Thanks i wonder if these are also on iPad Mini 2's or other apple A7 or older devices.
