Is the X5 a viable video choice these days? Has the IQ and/or CODEC improved any? I really want to replace my current setup with either a z15/gh4 or an x5 variant. The X5R certainly ticks a lot of boxes execpt I'm not a fan of the SSD media (XQD would have been so much nicer) nor the cost...

More than any of DJI's other faults, this is the chief reason I'm considering dropping DJI products. Right after I burn all my Apple products, quit using the internet in any form and go to an all cash lifestyle...

Wasn't the power increase for the transmitters done via firmware? As for A B and C versions, that could be due to changes in internal components and not necessarily due to different capabilities.

FTR, I agree that 107 has swung the pendulum a bit too far the other way. I too worry about the possible flood of under qualified people allowed by 107. It was just the way you worded your opening statement that was a bit over the top.

I wonder how many people here (these types of forums) have not registered yet...I run into 'hordes' of people out in the wild that are not registered, most have no idea that they're supposed to register. Of course, most of those folks could care less.

I just need to get back to a FW that will allow for the 32 ch hack for a particular job...however, I don't remember which version either had it or allowed for it to be activated.

Is there anyplace to find all of the older firmware versions to download? I had a drive crash but had not kept a backup of my DJI folder with all the old versions!

Has anyone been fined or worse because they are not registered?

Do you feel the CF blades you're running help with that flight time? Are the motors running any hotter than stock?
