I updated my remotes fw, installed new app, then the inspire fw, then my spare batteries fw each one at a time, next IMU calibration, then outside for compass calibration, then one at a time to 5% on each battery. Just my process for what it's worth.

I'm too lazy to charge the remote trick. Just keep it in a low hover. You can override the auto land with a little up stick, or maybe alot of up stick, but it works.

Do you have to swap each battery and then power on for it to update the battery?

I also have an Inspire for my primary and a P3 for a backup. I do plan to have another Inspire soon and add a 3DR solo for training. They all have positives and negatives and for a commercial operator you need a backup option.

I only tested mine twice and both times it was between 12 & 15 meters. I will test that again once it gets back.
