Bad Gimbal/Horizon Drift after Latest FW v01.02.0200 update. Inspire 2.

Yeah, that's the one. I'd strongly advise against updating.

Bad Gimbal/Horizon Drift after Latest FW v01.02.0200 update. Inspire 2.

x5s is a disaster, I had a commercial shoot on yesterday and had to downgrade to the old firmware as it would have been a disaster with the new firmware.

Bad Gimbal/Horizon Drift after Latest FW v01.02.0200 update. Inspire 2.

x5s user here. Seems the x7 was the priority here, but having fixed the x5s issues in the previous firmware, it has all been undone with the roll out. The latest firmware is a disaster, downgrade.

    Greetings from Perth, Australia

Hi there. I have run an aerial photography company here in Perth since last September, and are fully CASA licensed, so don't really have many restrictions in place. As long as you're not flying for commercial gain you shouldn't really have many restrictions that would impact your usage of the...

New hand catch hardware option for Inspire 2

Of course boat size has an affect. Are you telling me a 15 foot rib is as easy to operate from as a 50 mtr + vessel with a large open deck area? thats just common sense! Vessel stability is certainly affected by overall size, as are safe drone operations. It's never a great idea to launch...

We're on the same page with vessel size

New hand catch hardware option for Inspire 2

Hi, I think you misunderstood my post/meaning. I'm not advocating using an i2 in a small vessel at all. I'm actively discouraging it and I'd never do it or allow it in my business. I was referring to the suggestion pf catching the i2 while holding onto the boat, which seemed to suggest you...

New hand catch hardware option for Inspire 2

Certainly a point worth considering but as someone that spends a lot of time on the water filming whales, I'm not convinced. As a professional operator, I certainly would never allow this safety-wise on any small vessel or under my watch. On a larger boat, potentially. Launching an i2 on a small...

New hand catch hardware option for Inspire 2

Looks a decent solution but really limits the filming possibilities if camera is facing the rear. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the camera being able to film at any orientation. I think if hand catching is your biggest draw then the dji or 3rd party dual handles is a much better/safer...

Blew my 2nd high pay film job! Please chime in.

My x5s drift issue is worse after the latest firmware update. Nightmare to use for many shots. I too was on a big shoot last weekend but managed to have a workaround for when it became an issue. I was aware of the issue beforehand so was prepared. Incidentally, my bird is going in to Dji on...

    X5S Camera Drifting

I too have terrible drift with the 45mm. Today was my first test with that particular lens. I am also having drift issues with the standard and lumix lenses. It's just far more pronounced at 45mm. very annoying and difficult to complete a job.

    HPRC Inspire 2 case review - (INS2-4600W-01 )

Hi Folks, Best solution is to get your dremel out and try and do the following. Mine sits perfectly now. Incidentally HPRC sent me replacement foam as I complained, but it was the exact same as the original, so a waste of time.

Inspire 2 Camera Won't Look Straight Ahead - HELP!

Deal with it? It pointed straight ahead before the last firmware update so it's not the norm I'm afraid.
