I’m not sure of the quality of RAM they used in these drives, but they do have a limited lifespan. They can only endure a certain number of writes, so it’s entirely possible the silicon is past its prime if you are a steady user.

What do they show under load? I just went though 5 sets today, they are all at least 3.8 under load, seem ok. I set them to discharge after 3 days. It’s not good to leave them fully charged if you’re not using them

My x5s has no issues and I store mine this way. I’m sure it’s not as good but depending on the case it should be resting on some foam and should be fine

Consider that they still sell the Inspire 1...I don’t think there’s going to be anything revolutionary in the Inspire 3. The X5S and X7 are pretty stout cameras.
