DoD is banning all DJI products from flying for both military and civil works missions, having an IPAD etc. will not negate the fact of using DJI hardware to fly the missions. I know for a fact that this is being checked prior to contracting out for services.

Freedom55, What is concerning about the Army's decision? This only affects you or your company if you are utilizing (ANY) DJI Products. What that means is any and everything DJI (not just whole systems like Phantoms, Inspires, Matrice, etc.) but also includes cameras, gimbals, IMU, GPS...

This is the first DroneDeploy mission flown with the new I2. Processed using Pix4D and analyzed using ArcGIS for cross-sections of the riprap areas. We set ground control using RTK VRS, this is extremely close to what our mobile LiDAR can achieve.

Took my Part 107 yesterday and scored a 92, very happy with the outcome! They hit me with about 5 sectionals right off the bat and all easy to answer (towers and airspace) if you prepared. I had no Lat/Long questions, 2 METAR and 1 TAF and the rest was policies and procedures took me about 40...

I would agree the X5 is a lot better platform than the P4P, since it gives you flexibility of interchangeable lenses. Just my thoughts.
