I am sorry about my reply I must have taken yours the wrong way. But seriously did you comment to the FAA? I just don't understand why you are concerned now when it has been out there for a year.
I would think being a Licensed Pilot you would have known you could comment to the FAA on the age requirement and not needed an adult to give you guidance.

I developed a problem with intermediate video signal dropping and have sent my Inspire 1 Pro back to DJI as they have requested. It was doing it before I upgraded so I don't think it was the update.
When updating you should never have the TX on. Just put the .BIN File on the SD card and power up. Make sure your battery is charged. When the light on the camera stops flashing between red and green it has completed the update.
