I typically use an 9.7inch Air 2 mounted on a tripod (+1 for Apple BTW). You can get tripod mounts on Amazon for $20-30. This makes it very easy to have the iPad up at a comfortable viewing angle, and it call still be used with a shade to minimize glare.
