buttons not responding

Ok - this is an odd one. First off, I have a P4 and love it. Never had much of a problem with it, DJI Go and my S7. Yesterday I get a brand new I1 and have a particular problem I cant resolve... About half the time it is on, the video is crappy (really crappy) and then I notice I cant change...
