Hi Jimbo, what software are you using to generate the 3D maps. I've tried a few but I'm getting mixed results.

I use Pix4D and really like it. It does run on a local machine that has to be beefy, but that gives faster turn around when you working with the data and the models since you don't have to sling it over the internet to a cloud service. They also offer a license purchase rather than a monthly fee which is good imo.

Thanks Jimbo, we are thinking of using that now as well - I think it's pretty good from what I've seen. Much better than trying to use the slow internet to upload to a cloud for processing at someone else's convenience
