That is the size of the DNG file. Nothing to do with sensor MP count.

It's possible, all right. But I don't think that it would get that res straight out of the DNG (or RAW) file; it should increase once you convert it into a TIFF, since the TIFF will include further info that the RAW doesn't yet have, such as color saturation, sharpness processing or noise reduction processing, etc. A DNG is basically a digital negative, and the TIFF file is the processed negative,
