Does anyone know how to extract an azimuth with a timestamp from the I1 video ?

I would like to put a HUD on the video with some simple flight data on it.

I can do it on my other systems, but the I1 doesnt seem to have that kind of info available,

any helpers?

Thanks,

I don't think so...You need a lot of info that the inspire doesn't provide on it's osd, it might be in the flight log but we can't read that sooo

Well....now that I'm thinking about it, you can retrieve the lat and long from your home point and the inspires location off google maps...You can do a raw calculation that way. Problem is that is only one calculation, and I'm guessing you want it like how the iOSD displays azimuth? Where it's always changing based on your given location in the world

the exif file has GPS data, but missing two decimals, thus giving a 40m error and being useless.

I want to film a panoramic and have a compass on the screen that moves in real time......
guess it wont be possible. back to the drawing board
