I have a battery that is a brick and I need to purchase a new one. Will it pair with the existing battery that I have or will I need to buy two new batteries?

FYI, I successfully paired a new battery with one that had done around 50 charge cycles.
Why not buy one and try it? You can always buy a second one if it wont’t pair correctly.
Either way, keep a close eye on the cell voltages when you do your test flights.
